The legendary actor, 62, recently became an unexpected viral sensation—not for a high-flying stunt or gravity-defying action sequence, but for the way he devours popcorn at the movies. A video posted by user @seifwtf on X (formerly Twitter) captured Cruise at a Mission: Impossible – Fallout screening at London’s BFI IMAX on May 11, tossing popcorn into his mouth with almost comic intensity as he beamed at the audience.
As the crowd cheered and an announcer’s voice mentioned Cruise being awarded the prestigious BFI Fellowship, the star continued snacking in joyful defiance of decorum—sparking immediate reactions online.
