The British singer reschedules her European tour and cancels U.S. dates as she focuses on recovery and healing.
British singer Jessie J has announced that she will postpone her upcoming tour after revealing she must undergo a second surgery following her breast cancer diagnosis.
The 37-year-old artist, whose real name is Jessica Ellen Cornish, shared the update with fans in a heartfelt Instagram video on Thursday.
“Unfortunately, I have to have a second surgery, nothing too serious, but it has to be done before the end of the year, and unfortunately that falls right in the middle of a tour that I had booked,” Jessie J explained.
A Difficult Journey of Resilience
The singer revealed in June that she had been diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer. She underwent surgery later that month and assured fans in July that she was “ok” with “no cancer spread.”
Still, she must undergo another procedure this year, which she has previously said would help make her breasts appear more symmetrical following her mastectomy.
“I’m living in the moment, I’m embracing the moment and I’m flying with the vibes, so it is what it is, and I’m sorry,” she told fans. “I feel frustrated and sad … I need to be better, I need to be healed, and I know this is the right decision to make.”
Tour Plans Rescheduled
Due to her recovery needs, the European leg of Jessie J’s tour has been moved from October 2025 to April 2026. Meanwhile, the U.S. tour dates — originally scheduled for November — have been canceled for now, with no confirmed timeline for rescheduling.
“Please bear with us for the US tour,” she said. “It’s something I want to do but when the time is right, so it might be a little later in the year, it might even be a little earlier, I don’t know yet.”
Focusing on Health First
Jessie J emphasized that while postponing shows is disappointing, her priority must remain her health.
“I’m trying to do my best, I’m trying to compartmentalize all the different things that are happening in my life and where I have to give the energy,” she said. “I have to heal. So, forgive me, I’m sorry, this sucks, but I know you guys probably knew this was coming.”
Her candid update reflects both her vulnerability and determination, offering fans a reminder of the importance of self-care even in the face of difficult choices.
