The 26-year-old artist, best known for chart-topping hits like “Old Town Road” and “Montero (Call Me By Your Name),” took to Instagram late Monday night to share candid footage from a hospital bed.

“Soooo lost control of the right side of my face,” he wrote in the caption of a video that showed him trying to smile — with no visible movement on one side of his face.
“This is me doing a full smile right now, by the way,” he added, trying to find humor in the moment.

While visibly shaken by the sudden loss of mobility, Lil Nas X maintained his trademark wit and charm. “I couldn’t even laugh right,” he said, chuckling through partial paralysis. “What the f—?”

Shortly after posting the video, the “Industry Baby” singer followed up with a message to his fans via Instagram Stories to ease their worries:

“I am ok! Stop being sad for me. Shake ur ass for me instead.”

He then added a reassuring update, saying, “It’s already getting better,” as he stood in front of a mirror, demonstrating that movement on the right side of his face was slowly returning.
