Cameron Diaz calls Jamie Foxx’s impersonations “wild” as he flawlessly channels some of the most iconic figures in entertainment during a GOAT Talk interview ahead of Back in Action release.
Jamie Foxx once again showcased his impeccable talent for impersonations, leaving co-star Cameron Diaz in awe as he flawlessly mimicked some of the most recognizable figures in pop culture. In an interview for Complex’s GOAT Talk series, Diaz challenged Foxx to perform his best impressions, and he delivered, nailing impressions of Donald Trump, Will Smith, and Jay-Z.
Foxx’s spot-on Trump impression, which included a direct reference to the President-elect’s controversial quote from a 2017 rally, had Diaz gushing. “That’s the best Trump impression I’ve ever seen,” she remarked, further noting how Foxx’s eyes changed to mirror the persona he was embodying. Foxx’s Will Smith and Jay-Z impressions were equally impressive, with Diaz laughing in delight as he impersonated the Grammy-winning rapper.
This isn’t the first time Foxx has wowed audiences with his vocal transformations. During a 2015 appearance on The Tonight Show, Foxx participated in a musical impressions challenge, where he seamlessly performed renditions of songs in the voices of celebrities like Mick Jagger and Jennifer Hudson.
In addition to showcasing his comedic and vocal talents, Foxx and Diaz will reunite onscreen for the third time in Back in Action, the upcoming Netflix action-comedy. The movie will be released on January 17, marking Diaz’s return to the big screen after a hiatus to focus on family life.
In this latest collaboration, the two stars bring their chemistry to life, with Diaz feeling both excited and slightly nervous to dive back into acting, according to a source close to her. Fans can look forward to their dynamic performances as they join forces in the highly anticipated film.
