At just eight years old, Canadian model Novalie Nadeau made her international runway at the Fashion for Peace event in Hollywood on October 20th. The young talent not only captivated the runway but also experienced her first-ever red carpet, marking a pivotal moment in her budding career.
Held at the iconic Avalon Hollywood & Bardot, the event, founded by designer Jacob Meir, attracted a star-studded crowd, including Paula Abdul, Vivica A. Fox, Akon, Richard Lawson, and Deborah Cox. With proceeds benefiting five charities, the evening blended glamour with a powerful message of peace.

Backstage, Novalie was filled with anticipation as she prepared for her big moment. “Walking the runway was like a dream! And stepping on the red carpet for the first time was so cool,” she shared. “I was really excited and proud to be part of something so big. I couldn’t believe how many people were there, and it felt like I was in a movie!”
Dressed in one of Meir’s elegant designs, Novalie embodied the themes of peace and unity, fully embracing the event’s mission to make a difference through fashion. “It’s amazing to know that something I love—like modeling—can help others,” she said.

From a small Canadian town to the bright lights of Hollywood, Novalie’s journey proves that dreams can come true no matter where you begin. “I hope to keep walking in shows that matter,” she added. “This is just the beginning.”
Novalie’s agent, Anissa Asabban of the agency Medianissa Finest, shared her thoughts on the young model’s achievement: “Novalie has a natural talent and a passion for modeling that shines through. Her ability to bring grace and purpose to such a major event is a testament to her potential. We’re so proud of her.”
